Students are at the center of what we do and why we do it. From cooking classes, one-on-one nutrition coaching, and student programs to wellness workshops, social media, events, student focus groups, and more, we're here to support your wellbeing and keep you healthy! We use student data to inform all of our programs, media, and services so we can best meet your needs and be as helpful as possible. Knowledge is power, and our goal is to give you the tools, skills, and information you need to make informed decisions around your health and wellness in college and beyond.
Our staff of health educators, dietitians, and evaluators, use a harm/risk reduction philosophy, which means we share specific strategies to help you make safer and healthier choices in support of your personal, academic, and professional goals.

Student Programs
Our student-led programs are on a variety of topics - body image, nutrition, cooking, mental health, and stress-reduction. Find out more about getting involved.

Body Positive Arizona is a student-led program with the mission of enhancing self-worth and positive body image among all UA students. They provide the programs and events throughout the year.

Cooking on Campus is a hands-on culinary crash course for college students. They provide cooking classes, delicious recipes, and more!

Nutrition Navigators give you the facts to enhance your nutrition knowledge through nutrition presentations, programs, podcasts, and more.

The Stressbusters program specially trains volunteer teams of students to provide free 5-minute backrubs and wellness info to students at campus events, dorms, libraries, and wherever else the stressed are gathered.

Active Minds is a student-run advocacy group that works to change the conversation about mental health on college campuses. Active Minds increases students’ awareness of mental health issues, provides information and resources regarding mental health and mental illness, encourages students to seek help as soon as it is needed, and serves as liaison between students and the mental health community.
