Navigating nutrition as a college student can be challenging. The dietitians at Campus Health provide compassionate and individualized support to promote a healthy relationship with food and body image. They take a comprehensive and weight-neutral approach to health focusing on health-supportive behaviors. These behaviors include not only nutrition but also sleep, stress, activity, medications, and mental health. They strive to make nutrition approachable and flexible and understand that nutrition is not one size fits all, so we collaborate with each student to implement changes important to them.

Students often look for support with:

  • Eating on campus
  • Sports/performance nutrition
  • Lifestyle/behavior counseling for optimal health and energy
  • Eating disorders/disordered eating
  • Medical nutrition therapy for medically related issues, including:
    • GI: food intolerances/allergies, IBS, and others
    • Elevated cholesterol/blood pressure
    • Prediabetes/diabetes management
    • Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
    • Nutrient deficiencies
    • Other disease-related nutritional needs

Campus Health dietitans are accessible to any enrolled undergraduate or graduate student on the Tucson main campus and no referral or insurance is needed. Appointments range from 30-90 minutes and can be done in person or via TeleHealth. Scheduling is simple, call (520) 621-9202 to make an appointment!
