Fees & Insurance Overview

Your Health Care Options

UA Students* who are registered for classes at The University of Arizona do not need health insurance in order to access health care at Campus Health. However, we strongly urge every student to maintain adequate health insurance to cover unexpected medical expenses. Arizona Online, Southern Arizona & Distance Learner Students can opt-in for the Health portion of the UA Health & Recreation fee to access care at Campus Health or enroll for the available healthcare options. We've broken down all of the options available to you below.

The Campus Health Service is a participating provider to most commercial United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Health Net plans for Primary Care Services.

Dental & Vision Care Options

Campus Health does not provide dental care or routine vision care. However, there are several ways to access dental and routine vision services in the community.

Extended Campuses

Phoenix, Chandler, and Gilbert campus students can access health services at Arizona State University and Northern Arizona University’s Campus Health by opting for the Health portion of the Health & Recreation fee. Both ASU and NAU offer many of the same high-quality services as UA Campus Health.
