The Happy Hour Group: An Hour of Happy Every Week
You’re stressed out all…the…time.
You’ve lost your motivation (and your sleep), and you’re beginning to suspect that somewhere along the line you’ve forgotten how to just relax and have fun.
You feel like you’re sinking deeper in survival mode as the semester goes on.
Aren’t these supposed to be the best years of your life? Aren’t you supposed to be happy? Is this really what it takes to be successful?
The truth is that school is intense, and while you're a student you'll likely have significantly more stress than the average person. Sometimes that just goes with the territory, but for a lot of students, it’s actually the very same qualities that got you to college that contribute to your stress.
Think about it. You’re driven, intelligent, motivated. (You’re kind of a big deal!) BUT those qualities can also set even the strongest students up for things like stress, imposter syndrome, burnout, and survival mode. Not only is this stressful, but it’s actually getting in the way of your success!
We often think that success will bring happiness, but it actually works the other way around. The better you take care of yourself and set yourself up for real-life, lasting happiness, the better you do.
In The Happy Hour Group, you’ll learn strategies that will help you maximize all of those amazing qualities you have, boost your happiness, and bring out the natural star student in you.
We'll be covering topics like gratitude, optimism, using your strengths, meditation, and fun projects like mindful photography and an acts of kindness challenge.
