Presentations
and Educational Training
The
Oasis Program provides interactive education and training presentations
free of charge to groups associated with the UA campus community.
In addition to providing general information on Oasis Program services,
presentations focus on issues such as:
- Being
an effective first-responder to a disclosure of interpersonal
violence.
- Understanding
the limits of confidentiality when receiving a disclosure of interpersonal
violence.

Risk factors for sexual assault—identification
and reduction.

Risk factors for dating/relationship violence—identification
and reduction.

Stalking—identification
and personal safety.
- What
happens if an incident is reported to law enforcement agencies
or campus judicial officers.

Socialization—Understanding
the roots of interpersonal violence through a gender, racial,
sexual preference, socioeconomic, etc. lens.
