Salafsky, MPH
David is the Director of Health Promotion & Preventive Services. He holds an MPH from The University
of Arizona with a concentration in Community Health Practice. His
work centers on programming and evaluation in the areas of alcohol
and other drugs, sexual health and student wellness.
Lee
Ann Hamilton, MA, CHES
Lee Ann is the Assistant Director of Health Promotion & Preventive Services. She is a Health Educator and Sexual Health Specialist. She has a
Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education and a Masters
degree in Higher Education from The University of Arizona with an
emphasis in Teaching and Student Services. Her areas of expertise
are STD/HIV prevention, sexual health, wellness and foreign travel
safety.
Peggy
Glider, Ph.D.
Peggy
Glider is the Coordinator for Evaluation and Research at the Campus
Health Service. She has a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from The
University of Arizona. Her work focuses on evaluation and research
to determine effectiveness of non-clinical or pharmaceutical programs,
primarily those that are grant funded in a variety of wellness areas.
Gale
Welter, MS, RD, CSCS
Gale is the Nutrition Counselor for the Campus Health
Service. She has a Masters of Nutritional Science in Dietetics from
The University of Arizona. She is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified
Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Her areas of expertise are
sports nutrition, eating disorder therapy and weight management.
Lynn
Reyes, LCSW, LISAC
Lynn
Reyes is an Alcohol and Other Drug Specialist. She has a Masters
degree in Social Work from Arizona State University and is dually
licensed as a clinical social worker and substance abuse counselor.
Her work focuses on developing and implementing brief interventions
for alcohol and other drug prevention with students. She provides
individual sessions and oversees education programming and training
for diversion referrals.
Andrew
Maghielse, BFA
Andrew is the Graphic Designer, Sr. for HPPS and the
Campus Health Service. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic
Design with a minor in Psychology from Eastern New Mexico University
in 1993 and has over 15 years of experience in advertising and graphic
design. His primary responsibilities include creative development
for the UA social norms media campaign using graphics geared towards
college students through brochures, logos, flyers and other collateral.
Other responsibilities include creative development and consultation
for a variety of different projects with the HPPS and Campus Health
staff.
