Pandemic Flu Information
If
you think you have symptoms of H1N1 flu (high fever over 102
degrees, body aches, sore throat, cough and runny nose; sometimes
vomiting and diarrhea are also associated with the H1N1 flu),
or believe you have been exposed to someone with H1N1 flu, we
strongly encourage you to stay home in your room and contact
one of the following:

In order to protect those at highest risk with our limited vaccine supply:
If you are a student or UA staff member who meets the criteria listed below, you are eligible to receive an H1N1 vaccine shot at the Immunization office on the first floor of the Campus Health Service . Come to the Main/Urgent Care entrance and proceed directly to the Immunization Clinic from 8am-12pm and 1-4:30pm (clinic opens at 9am on Wednesdays).
- student or staff member under the age of 24 years of age without a high risk condition
- student or staff member over the age of 25 years with a high risk health condition
- women who are pregnant
- people with physical disabilities
- people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age
- health care personnel and health professions students (e.g. medical students, nursing students, etc.).
When (and if) our anticipated supply of vaccine is received in the coming weeks , we will open up vaccinations to those people in lower risk categories and healthy people. (updated 11/10/09)
