Biofeedback
The University of Arizona Campus Health Service offers
biofeedback as an adjunct to medical and psychological services.
Clients have an opportunity to
participate in their own wellness by using biofeedback to increase
awareness of physiological reactions and learn self-regulation. The goals are to reduce
stress-related symptoms and enhance health by promoting relaxation.
Biofeedback is effective with a variety of symptoms and issues:
- Headache
- Anxiety and panic
- Stomach aches and IBS
- Panic
and/or anxiety symptoms
- Stress management
- Sleep
difficulties
Length of treatment depends on the clinical presentation. The biofeedback therapist will provide
