Administrative Staff
There exists a number of very capable administrative staff within the Campus Health Service, performing functions ranging from Medical Records management, Computer Services and Insurance/Referral to Business Office and Finance.

Harry McDermott, M.D., M.P.H.

Executive Director for Health & Wellness
and Director of the Campus Health Service

Dr. Harry McDermott is the Executive Director and staff physician at Campus Health. His degrees include a B.S. in Biology from Penn State, a M.D. from Georgetown University, School of Medicine and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Arizona. He completed a Family Medicine internship at the Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania and then worked for three years with the Indian Health Service before coming to the UA Campus Health Service in 1987. At Campus Health, Dr. McDermott’s work focuses on patient care, health service administration and public health issues impacting the university community.

Kris T. Kreutz, M.B.A.
Kris Kreutz is the Director of Administrative Services at Campus Health. He holds a B.S. from the College of Business and Public Administration at the University of Arizona with a major in Health Services Administration, as well as an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix with an emphasis in Marketing. He also completed graduate coursework in Business at Arizona State University. Kris' work at Campus Health focuses on various administrative responsibilities such as Finance, Information Systems, Business Office, Medical Records, Insurance/Referral and Pharmacy operations. Mr. Kreutz supervises the Directors of Health Promotion and Prevention Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Oasis Program for Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence and is principally responsible for The Student Health Insurance Advisory Committee.

Marian Binder, Ph.D.
Dr. Marian Binder is Director of the Counseling and Psychological Services unit. She is one of two Diplomats for the American Board of Professional Psychology. Marian earned a BA in Psychology from Queens College, City University of New York, a Master in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Marian's clinical work at CAPS focuses on general clinical, couples/relationships, sexuality, mind/body, and HIV.

Carolyn Collins, M.S., CHES
Carolyn Collins is the Director of Health Promotion and Preventive Services. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Marshall University and a Master of Science degree from the University of Arizona in Addiction Studies. Her area of clinical specialty is preventing harm associated with alcohol and other drug abuse.

Margaret Sifford
Margaret is the Receptionist Supervisor. Her background includes 14 years in Public Safety Communications and Emergency Medical Services. She is currently pursuing her undergraduate at UA in Cultural Anthropology. She is an active member of the "Highlanders" and CHS/DRC Staff Support group and enjoys participating in community outreach programs.

Michael Stilson, MD, ABP, FABP, CAQ-Sports
Dr. Mike Stilson is Director of Medical Services at Campus Health. He received his B.A. and M.D. degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder and did his residency at the University of Arizona. He is also board-certified in Pediatrics and Sports Medicine. At Campus Health, Mike provides primary medical care, concentrating on sports medicine injuries and problems. His special interest is in injury prevention and promotion of active lifestyles. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

Sharidan Overland, RN, BSN
Shari Overland is a UofA graduate from the College of Nursing. She has experience in medical-surgical, oncology, hospice, and emergency room nursing. Shari is the Nursing Supervisor and works in a variety of areas throughout the clinic focusing on patient care & education. She also enjoys precepting nursing students.

Terri West
Terri West is Administrative Associate for Dr. McDermott and leads the Telephone Access and Data Management teams. She is also a primary CHS Representative for Freshmen Orientation
