Accreditation
The
Campus Health Service is the first fully accredited college
health service in the nation. We have been accredited by
the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC)
since 1978 and have successfully completed our 11th consecutive
re-accreditation survey which will stand until December 31, 2009.
This every three-year accreditation process begins with the completion
of a comprehensive application and is supported during the intervening
period by the use/refinement of the AmbuQual and other quality improvement
tools. The on-site AAAHC accreditation survey team rigorously compares
the Campus Health Service level of compliance with nationally recognized
standards of practice, which are documented through a written report
and an award of full accreditation.
